| John “Jay”
McCauley
He graduated with honors from Harvard Law School in 1980. He has taught courses on appellate advocacy and on alternative dispute resolution at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Mr. McCauley has acted as a judge pro tem for the Superior Courts in Orange and Fresno Counties. He is on the panel of arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and for Kaiser Permanente, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators. Mr. McCauley has served as a hearing officer for Judicial Review Committees. He has written and spoken widely on the topics of effective negotiation and alternative dispute resolution. Together with his partner, Marc Lebed, MD, MDR, Mr. McCauley co-mediates medical disputes and co-teaches seminars on communication, dispute prevention, dispute management, and institutional patient safety system development, in the medical field. |
